A little About us
Lytham Quality Pies is a small family run business situated on the high street in the lovely town of Lytham, Lancashire.
Whilst Lytham Quality Pies established itself in 2008, the family has owned the building & the shop for many years. Our family has twice run the shop, initially as a butchers before growing and developing into its pie business.
We are only small in the number of employees we have, but each one is committed, proud and passionate about producing a consistently good quality product.
Although we are a primarily now a Pie business, we have our own in house butcher, who prepares all our locally sourced British meat products.
Pies & Tradition
We have a long history of Pie making and Butchery spanning over 50 years, with the knowledge and tutelage of family members passing on their experience and recipes through the generations.
All our pies are handmade on the premises using a single ‘Pie Blocker’ that’s been around for generations.
We pride ourselves on the experience and knowledge passed down over the years with the same recipes being used today as previous generations. Although we don’t stand still, we have introduced other new pie fillings.
90% of our products are made in-house on the premises and sourced locally to get the freshest and best quality possible. We strongly believe in supporting our local suppliers and that’s exactly what we do!
Sausages & Meats
Our sausage recipe is top secret and has been in the family since the very beginning. We pride ourselves in the best quality for our customers and that’s why we make a variety of our own handmade sausages to share with everyone.
We also have a range of home-cured (our recipe) deli meats that we prepare and cook regularly to ensure the freshest for our customers.
The Meat
We source the best quality British local meat from within a 50-mile radius. All our meat comes straight from the suppliers and our in-house master butcher breaks it down for the different products.
We don’t use any pre-packed meat as we believe in the freshest and highest quality products for our Pies.
